PUBG Comes to Google Stadia

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) has finally made its way to the Google Stadia platform. PUBG is currently free for Stadia Pro members and would include a Cold Front season pass with it. Google Stadia’s non-pro players can also buy the game for $29.99 or for $39.59 with the season pass.

Stadia players would be able to play with their console friends, as PUBG is allowing for matchmaking with the console user pool. However, PC players would not be able to join the Stadia teammates.

Google Stadia is the cloud gaming platform from Google, where you just need stable internet connectivity, a Google Account, a Stadia Controller, and Google’s platforms like Chrome, Smartphone, or Chromecast to play games. The game processing happens in the remote Google Cloud Servers and you get the virtually lag-free gaming experience on your slow device via the internet. This means you do not have to build expensive Gaming PCs or purchase consoles, just get the Stadia controller and enjoy the gaming experience.

Google Stadia has also announced that they will be coming up with more than 100 games and some exclusive titles for the Google Stadia platform only in 2020.

Update: Due to updates in the Google Stadia platform and post-launch updates. The game could or could not be available in your location depending on the Google Stadia platfom.
