BMW has developed its first M edition vehicle for the electric mobility line-up. BMW used the platform of CES 2022 for the world premiere of its all-new iX M60.

The iX M60 will produce up to 619 HP and a maximum torque of 1015 Nm claimed by BMW. The car will also feature sports mode and launch control. BMW says the vehicle will provide a thrilling driving experience and sports capabilities while being sustainable. The vehicle is a mixture of sophisticated technology, luxury features, and a high-performance powertrain.

BMW mentioned that the car will be able to accelerate from 0 to 100 in only 3.8 seconds. The maximum speed will be limited to 250 kmph and the WLTP test cycle is up to 566 kilometers. BMW iX M60 will sell along with the company’s other high-performance range i4 M50. The iX M60 is the first BMW that brings the X, M, and BMW i departments together.

BMW has achieved the highest possible five-star rating in Euro NCAP safety. The ADAS (advanced driver assistance system) will help the driver prevent accidents. The panoramic “Sky Lounge” LED roof, adaptive LED headlights, and advanced new-generation sensors help drivers achieve the most safety and luxury levels.

With luxury Electric Cars like the Mercedes EQS, Porsche Taycan, and Audi e-Tron making their way to India, BMW’s new iX series might make its way to India. Let’s hope we get to see these uber luxury cars on our roads as well.
