Ducati Teases Electric Motorcycle | MotoE Racing

Recently, Ducati released a video of its new electric motorcycle V21L. The video showcases the vehicle’s ability on the race track and some of the amazing features, specifications, and design of the new V21L MotoE prototype. It will be Ducati’s entry into the electrification of the vehicles and learnings from it would go into developing production-ready, consumer-focused Ducati Motorcycles.

Ducati V21L will come with 150 horsepower and a top speed of 171 MPH (approx 275KMPH).

The electric motor will be a 110 kW motor producing 150 horsepower and 140 Nm of torque. While the Ducati V21L will also come equipped with NPX 25/30 43mm suspension with USD pressurized forks and TTX36 rear suspensions. A setup of Brembo braking systems has 338.5mm disks at the front and 220mm at the rear.



On the performance front, the bike will reach speeds up to 275 KMPH (171 MPH) speeds. The video was shot at the Mugello MotoGP circuit in Tuscany. The motorcycle unit weighs 225 kilograms and the battery weight is just under half of it.

It will be interesting to see other motorcycle companies bringing their electric motorcycles to the market soon.
