iPhone 13 Event: What Was Released on Apple’s September 2021 Event?

Apple introduced a new iPhone 13 series lineup, a new iPad Mini, Apple Watch Series 7 at their September 2021 virtual event. Prices for all the products and expected launch dares were also released by Apple in their event. Here is a quick look at what Apple released on their iPhone 13 event of 2021!

iPhone 13: Similar Design, Big on Updates

iPhone 13 and 13 mini keep a similar design strategy to the previous year’s iPhone 12 and 12 mini. It is still that aluminum and glass sandwich with boxy side designs, But, there are subtle improvements on many parts to keep it a fresh new iPhone with more capabilities.

iPhone 13 will come with a 6.1-inch OLED display, brighter than the previous generations for better visibility in direct sunlight. There are improved storage options for even entry-level models. Now, iPhone 13 storage starts with a minimum of 128GB storage and goes all the way up to 512GB storage.



A more important update is the smaller notch. Yes, Apple has trimmed the notch size down up to 20 percent, yet it holds all the important things from Face ID to the front camera and other important sensors. This might not look like a huge update for smartphone users, but for Apple users, this means a better screen-to-body ratio and a more immersive content consumption experience.

The all-new iPhone 13 lineup gets a camera update as well. It now houses a 47% bigger camera sensor that allows more light in dark environments. It gets rearranged camera sensors. Both are 12-megapixel lenses with a new wide and another 120-degree ultrawide sensor. Apple has also suggested that these devices will bring a better 5G experience for users as well.

iPhone 12 models also claim to get better battery life and get the new A15 Bionic chip for better CPU and GPU performance.

iPhone 13 Pro: Expectations Become Reality

The Pro iPhone siblings also got their deserving updates this year! One of the biggest upgrades people were expecting from Apple on their pro devices was a higher refresh rate screen! Well, this year, iPhone 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max get their ProMotion adaptive refresh rate screens, which can give you a maximum refresh rate of up to 120Hz.

The new camera system on the iPhone 13 Pro models gets better low-light shooting performance. The Cinematic mode now brings an option to change the depth-of-feed automatically while shooting the videos. This will help the creators to get many things done with their one device.

iPhone 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max gets storage space of up to 1TB. Just like the iPhone 13 lineup, the pro siblings also claim an improved better life for users. A larger battery and power-efficient A15 Bionic processor support this model.

iPad mini: A Fresh, Userfriendly Experience

The newest generation of iPad mini gets the latest A15 bionic chip, 5G option, camera updates, and most importantly – the USB C-type connection for better integration with the accessories and options.

The new processor brings better Machine Learning functions for iPad users. The latest iPadOS 14 will give a host of new features to the users. The Center Sage feature on the camera brings a better experience for video calls, now. The Ultra Wide front camera with a 12MP sensor will keep the user focused even if the user is moving while making the video call.

iPad mini customers can also select the optional 5G connection on their devices for faster wireless connectivity. The new iPad mini gets a USC-C port for faster data transfer speeds and better integration options with a host of accessories and applications.

Apple moved the Touch ID to the top button for a secure and minimal experience.

Apple Watch 7: Larger Display

The new Apple Watch Series 7 gets a larger display and a better screen-to-body ratio. Apple also claims to have a 33 percent faster-charging capability in this new device.

Apple Watch Series 7 gets a better crack-resistant front crystal and keeps the WR50 water resistance rating from the previous generation. The ECG capabilities, electrical heart rate sensor, Blood Oxygen sensor, and apps continue with the Series 7.

The updated generation watch also gets an improved UI. Now, users can use the QuickPath feature to swipe and type with the full QWERTY keyboard. A machine learning algorithm will help users to predict words faster to make this experience flawless.

Other Event Updates

Apart from these fresh new devices, Apple also gave a small update to the 10.2-inch iPad. The new version now features an A13 Bionic chip and the Centre Stage feature.

Apple Fitness+ also brings new workouts and Meditation features for the app users. On the stage, Apple also announced new Apple TV Plus service shows.
