Twitter Rolls Back the Latest Feed Update

Recently Twitter introduced a new update on the mobile app where they let users attach the latest Tweets tab on the main feed. Due to a lot of user feedback, Twitter has decided to roll back its feature.

Twitter officially announce this on the Twitter Support account with a statement stating that “some of you always want to see the latest Tweets first. We’ve switched the timeline back and removed the tabbed experience for now while we explore other options.”

It’s really interesting to see that Twitter did listen to the feedback from their customers. Twitter has also removed the Fleet feature from the app and working hard on its audio room feature called Twitter Spaces. New features like video playback speeds and others are also making their way to the consumer end from Twitter.

More and more social media platforms are moving ahead to adopt AI in a better way so that their apps can serve the content better. Better content tends to engage more users for longer times and thus Twitter saying they will keep exploring new ways does suggest that they will bring better features in the future as well.
